Interior & Facilities
Folly sleeps 6 comfortably on 3 double beds, 2 of which are double bunks. There is plenty of seating around the lovely
wood-burning stove, perfect for cooler evenings and chats over hot
chocolate. The kitchenette includes a 2-ring
induction hob, combination microwave, cold water sink and small fridge, and
there is a gas barbecue outside of the folly.
Owners Claire and Andrew have thought of everything, down to BBQ tools
and oven gloves, to make sure you have a comfortable stay.
100 metres from the folly is the bathroom block, with an individual wet room that is exclusive to the folly. This includes a pumped shower, toilet and basin, and baby changing facilities. Paths to the bathroom and car parking area are lit by fairy lights.
There is also plenty to do on this site, which was once owned by the headmaster of the local school, and had original shepherd’s huts on site. The natural woodland allows for ample opportunities to see bats, owls, deer and foxes, or why not feed the owners’ pigs, who love nibbling on food scraps!
Please note that while there is no WiFi available, there is good 4G reception in the area.
