Angels Hut, Dorset.
Unsuitable for children
The peaceful and private setting for this romantic Shepherd's Hut is Dorset at the heart of Thomas Hardy country. This modern cabin was designed
and built by Jonathan, and is perfectly placed at the top of a sloping field for maximum privacy and view.
The raised decked area is a great spot for relaxing and making the most of the sweeping views, sit and
watch the world go by, which around here means a few sheep, birds -
maybe a rabbit! Not too far away a designated fire-pit is where magical night time chats and star gazing happen. The Shepherd's Hut is tucked away in a private spot by a
small wooded area, well away from other dwellings so you have complete privacy. The 45 acre farm
is a family run business with animal welfare and
sustainability at its core.
The cleverly laid out interior has a double bed to the left and at the opposite end is a dining and seating area. All bedding is provided. A well designed cooking area is a great little space to cook up some fabulous meals from fresh local produce, and seasonal lamb from the farm itself. The complimentary breakfast hamper includes as much from the farm as possible, sausages, bacon and home-made bread. Store cupboard essentials such as fresh coffee, tea, sugar and olive oil are also provided.
Right behind the hut is a separate cabin with a smart composting loo, washbasin and hot gas powered shower. Towels and locally made toiletries are provided.
