With Christmas drawing closer, there is so much anticipation for the big day to finally arrive. The United Kingdom is renowned for having a fantastic source of fresh and local produce, and with it being the festive season, there is no better time to pick up some delicious ingredients to really make your Christmas dinner one to remember. There are countless regions that offer some of the best local produce, but none quite like Sussex!

Countryside in Sussex near our Christmas treehouse holidays.

Sussex is a large county situated in the south-east of England and is famous for its vibrant cities and towns. However, when heading into the countryside and away from the more popular areas of this county, you will be taken aback of how different these two parts of the county really are. Dotted around the Sussex countryside are an array of wonderful farms which are fantastic places to find fresh vegetables and other treats.

When searching for the best produce for your Christmas dinner, a farm shop can be the ideal place to pick up everything you need and more. One of the best things about a farm shop is that you can buy produce directly from where it was made (or at least very near to). Over the years they have developed greatly, stocking produce from all over the area and beyond. However, one thing that has never changed is the quality and freshness of the produce, and this is something that supermarkets just cannot compete with!

If you are looking at one of our Christmas treehouse holidays in Sussex or are just local to the area, we have tracked down some of the best places to find the best local produce for your Christmas dinner:
