Hello happy glampers, come this way and meet the acquaintance of Adam our delightful eco pod. Adam is the ideal glamping companion if you’re after a retro-style cabin, perfectly suited for glamping in the famous location that is Glastonbury.
Located in a quiet paddock Adam, along with partner, Eve, these modern, desirable eco pods face towards the famous Glastonbury Tor. You won’t have to be trying to enjoy the Glastonbury countryside with 175,000 other people, while you’re with Adam, quite the opposite in fact.
Adam was designed and built by a local craftsman. His design represents the outline and dimensions of a Fibonacci spiral, which coincidentally is also the Quality Unearthed logo.
As Adam’s door opens up you’ll find a double bed and comfy mattress, with bedding included. Adam also offers visitors a host of creature comforts to ensure you have the best possible time. A heater, storage, hanging rail, kettle, toaster, small fridge, and tea & coffee make sure facilities are all to hand. There’s no need to worry about being feeling cold at night, Adam is very well insulated and will keep you warm all year round.
Adam’s private bathroom is around 40 meters away from him, with a wet-room shower, flushing loo, and washbasin to have you fresh as a daisy for whatever lies in store during the rest of the day. Oh, and Adam has his own towels, so you needn’t worry about packing any.
After you’ve sat down and had something to eat on Adam’s cute decking area just outside the accommodation, you can use the simple washing up sink, which is shared with ‘Eve’ for plates etc. on the side of the bathroom building.
If, like most happy glampers, you love the outdoors, there is a generous covered deck area we previously mentioned, with kettle, BBQ, and truly quintessential views towards Glastonbury Tor- the perfect spot to relax the day away.
Eve the eco pod is sited about 10 meters away, just so Adam doesn’t get lonely on those rare nights no one is there to stay with him.
When it’s time to get out and explore you’ll be spoilt rotten with 16 acres of land, oh and that includes a stream and woodland too. Adam’s got another surprise too, in the form of a large heated swimming pool in the nearby hamlet, and should you be feeling sociable the outdoor oven at the hamlet is lit on a Wednesday evening for anyone who fancies indulging in a communal pizza night- bellissimo!
Adam’s got some friends, in the form of horses, who are looked after by owner, Jill, should you fancy horse-riding American style. Jill is always more than happy to take Adam and Eve’s guests out.
A little about the local area, and landmark
Glamping is a great way to experience Glastonbury and the Abbey ruins, Chalice Well, crafts, quirky restaurants, cafes and some pretty cool shops! It’s a great base from which to explore Somerset too.
Once you meet Adam we are sure you’ll be friends for life, so come meet him soon!
