Just outside of the vibrant, colourful, and bustling city of Brighton lies a peaceful, relaxing glamping nest waiting to be discovered in the picturesque countryside of South East England.
We are of course referring to Blackberry Perch, a glamping cabin that deserves a slot on the much-watched television series Grand Designs for its pure unadulterated elegance and style.
The thing with Blackberry Perch, you see, is that it does all the simple things right – the looks, the maximisation of the interior space available, not to mention the allure of its beautiful surroundings. This is a glamping abode that has the ability to turn a normal family break into one big unforgettable memory that will allow smiles to live on for years to come.
Blackberry Perch is a quality, family glamping cabin, architect designed and built to a pristine standard by treehouse experts Blue Forest. It’s nestled perfectly in 30 acres of land within the South Downs National Park, so it’s the ideal getaway for any of the London-dwelling glamping lovers amongst you. That’s not to say that it isn’t suited to everyone, it is, oh, it is! People come from far and wide to let Blackberry Perch charm them, and give them back a slice of tranquillity.
Inside this luxurious glamping cabin, there’s a showcase for other glamping cabins. You’ll see it extends throughout, including the furnishings and fittings, featuring a smart fitted shower room and kitchen. The main living space is open plan with a double bed, as if you’re in a swanky New York apartment, the only difference is you’re far from the screeches and horns of noisy city life, and in the warm blanket of the lush green countryside, with only nature’s cheeps and chirps for background noise.
A bunk bed is located in its own room so the children can have their space come bed time, which is great for parents who want to stay somewhere unusual with an open space to relax as the kids sleep comfortably in their own room.
When you’re inside Blackberry Perch you’ll soon appreciate its light and airy demeanour, offering you a much more spacious accommodation than many glamping options. But as we mentioned, the simple things have been executed delightfully, so on those cooler evenings you’ll enjoy being well insulated with heating and its wood burning stove.
Self-catering cooking facilities are provided throughout the built in kitchen that features 4 gas hobs. There’s no chance you’ll be short of cooking options here, especially with a toaster, fridge, cutlery crockery and pots and pans all at your disposal.
Take a step outside the cabin and discover the exclusive seating area, complete with its own fire pit, which can be used to cook on, should you fancy going al fresco.
The cabin itself is located in a paddock with 4 other glamping abodes with a shared fire pit area, so if you fancy chatting to your fellow glamping neighbours, we’re sure you will have stories to share, but also plenty of your own space, should you want it.
If you have a family then this glamping accommodation has particular appeal as the site is geared towards children running around the woods, exploring and enjoying adventures in a safe environment among nature. A walk through the woods and over the handcrafted bridge will lead the little ones to a kids play area with sit on zip wire, a crooked kids den, slack rope and tyre swing.
On site you can wander over to the small shop, which is reminiscent of a Caribbean beach shack, which gives you an opportunity to stock up on some of the basics including additional fire wood and BBQ coals.
Don’t just take our word for it, call today and see when you can come and enjoy glamping at its finest for all the family!
