In conjunction with National Camping and Caravanning Week (NCCW), the Camping and Caravanning Club are currently promoting the benefits of getting out and enjoying the outdoors by challenging families and schools to get the younger generations out of their bedrooms and into the great outdoors.
NCCW endorses the initiative as the Club’s major annual campaign to boost the levels of the British public who engage with both camping (including glamping) and caravanning, and so this year’s theme is ‘Get Kids Outdoors with Camping’.
There are many ways to get involved and support this great initiative. The Club’s approach this year is to invite schools and families to try the ‘Get Kids Outdoors Camping Challenge’. If you are keen to get involved, whether it be part of your luxury camping UK holiday as a family, or you work in a school, or just have children and want them to be part of the event, an activity pack, listing 50 activities kids can undertake while camping, is available FOR FREE, here.
National Camping and Caravanning Week officially starts on May 30, running up until June 5. If you want to share your experiences on social media, use the #GetKidsCamping hashtag and you could also be in with the chance of winning some great prizes!
