Located not far from the popular destination of Cardigan Bay, known for its serenity and beauty, nature, and relaxing traits, you can also find Gorse Yurt. Perched on its hand-built raised decking area and overlooking the serene Ceredigion countryside, it’s a rarity to find a gem of this calibre with such an abundance of space and freedom.
If it’s wildlife and nature that you are after, you can be certain that both are flourishing in this scenic area of Wales. Don’t be surprised if you spot owls, red kite, herons, hares and red squirrels scurrying and soaring about the place.
For the active glampers among you, forest mountain biking and hiking are just a stone’s throw from your luxury camping abode. As with many of our Wales glamping locations, you can be sure that you’re escaping the hectic day-to-day realms we are all accustomed to and fully recharge your batteries for a well-deserved break.
You’ll be treated to a remote and private 5-acre smallholding where the family owned business still keep a handful of small farm animals, and cultivate vegetables, which are both great to add to that true feeling of the countryside!
Gorse Yurt is a magnificent example of how luxury camping has evolved, and with the yurt and nearly all of the furniture being hand crafted by owner Charlotte’s son, Morgan, with his years of expertise, you’re bound to fall in love with the place upon arrival.
Yurts come in many sizes, and Gorse Yurt is on the larger side of things, coming in at 6 metres wide and therefore offering you far more space than most, so comfort and luxury is at a premium here. We wouldn’t be able to not mention the rather nifty ‘en-suite’ loo behind the wardrobe-looking doors, which is very creative indeed!
Once you’ve finished enjoying the delights inside Gorse Yurt, you can venture outside to indulge in yet more appealing features. The generous covered decking area has a BBQ, seating and dining table, perfect for the warm spring/summer evening with the loved ones as you gaze out over the irresistible views of the Welsh countryside, with nothing but the babbles of the stream for background accompaniment. And then there’s the large fire pit that provides you with a sheltered spot in the scoop of the land for family campfires and cosy blanket-wrapped down time under the stars.
What else could you possibly want but to experience this remarkable retreat that will give you ever-lasting memories?
