One of the superb and most delightful entrants in the Shed of the Year competition, Pixie Cabin, is set to be available TO BUY at The Glamping Show.
(*not actual Pixie Hut)
The cabin, which was quite rightly one of the finalists, was constructed without the use of a tape measure or spirit level. The designer’s idea was simple, the Pixie Cabin has been set out to look like an old fallen down house. We think that look was achieved, don’t you?
Proud designer, Mark Burton, has said it was built so that someone can use it as an office space, a tea room, or a place to store tools, which are quite humble intentions we think.
Describing the cabin on his website, he said: “The Pixie “Tiny House” Cabin is our little gem built from mainly leftover bits of timber from past projects, discarded pallets, broken branches, logs and trees.

“She is used as our site office, tool box, tea hut, office, dry area on rainy days and above all, being fully mobile, she makes a great advertisement for our company services.
“Pixie is fully equipped with all the essentials to make our working day more comfortable especially during the cold winter months.”
Pixie Cabin, complete with an outdoor BBQ pit and log burner, neatly sits on a re-enforced steel chassis with reclaimed steel wheels and stabiliser bars to ensure no big bad wolves blow this home down!
To get an idea for just how impressive it is to make it into the final of the annual Shed of the Year contest, there were a staggering 2,520 entries all fighting it out for first place!
If you fancy taking a gander at the shed in the flesh then The Glamping Show will be open to the public from September 25th to 26th at Stonleigh Park in Warwick.
And while you’re there why don’t come and see what cabin breaks UK Glamping Company, Quality Unearthed, can offer you?
