Have you been looking for appealing luxury camping safari tents to enjoy a glamping break in but have yet to find one that fits the bill? Well, we’re confident that you will need to look no further with our newest addition; Hot Tub Safari Lodge. This expansive glamping safari tent is sited in its very own exclusive woodland clearing on the Acton Scott Estate, in the charming Shropshire Marches.
You may have heard of The Acton Scott Estate: it rose to national fame through the BBC’s hugely popular ‘Victorian Farm’ series, bringing the Acton family’s hard work and support of sustainable practices to a wider audience. Following this success, more ensued with another BBC show filmed entirely at Acton Scott.
Because the estate is a recognised Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) it provides glamping guests with a wonderful location for quintessential walk among scenic landscapes. Nearby, you can find local beauty spots such as Wenlock Edge and Ragleth Hill, with both simply begging to be discovered by new visitors.
Before we get carried away with talking about how much the local surroundings and the estate itself offer, we had best turn our attentions to the property itself, hadn’t we?
The abode is nestled in the clearing of an ancient 20-acre woodland which is constantly maintained in a way that will encourage the flourishing wildlife.
Able to sleep up to six people, the luxury camping is at its absolute best here, and with a flushing WC inside tent. Hot shower approx. 4 meters away and towels provided, you’ll never be too far from a home luxury.
The property also offers a separate double bedroom, bunk bedroom, ‘cupboard’ den, kitchen area, as well as sitting and dining areas. The kitchen is in a central situation and is fully equipped and offers a niche feature in the kitchen area; the log fuelled stove that’s used for cooking. Another appealing aspect of this accommodation is the offer of delicious meals that can be delivered to the glamping safari by the local gourmet food shop Van Doesburgs. What’s more, Estate cook Melissa Rees is also an option you can opt for, with Melissa able to cater for all tastes, requirements, budgets and occasions. What a luxury!
A fantastic feature of this encampment is the private wood-fired hot tub! After an inspiring walk, exploring the farm or even just chilling out around the tent, a moonlit hot-tub soak has to be one of the most perfect endings to a day.
