Treehouse holidays are becoming more and more popular and this is because people are enjoying a break with a twist, being back to nature and simplicity if you will. A man who likes being in touch with nature is none other than the iconic surfer Rob Machado who’s spent his time travelling the world for over half his life. He met the treehouse master that is Takashi Kobayashi who used his talent to help children affected by the devastating tsunami  in the region.

In this particular episode, Rob has the exclusive opportunity to spend a week working with Takashi while he is in the final stages of what Takashi pronounces as “his most important tree house” to date. By working beside Takashi Rob starts to gain an understanding of the power of what this stunning, emblematic tree house can bring to the Tsunami stricken Sendai district of Japan.
