Here at Quality Unearthed we are proud of each and every one of our abodes in our wonderful collection of glamping holiday destinations. This is why we want to highlight them to you so you can see them and fall in love with them just as we did.
Our latest feature will be focusing on a secluded, romantic getaway log cabin located in the magnificent Brecon Beacons near Hay on Wye. Powys, log cabins and a holidaying couple make the perfect combination and here’s why:
You simply won’t find anything else like this romantic log cabin our side of the Atlantic – it’s not just that is intriguing and unusual, it is also unique too!
The cabin is tucked under trees at the end of a private track like an unassuming haven for those looking to get away from it all. The interior has been carefully and exclusively furnished by the owner who has created a unique cowboy atmosphere, and features that quintessential American Pioneer feature – front porch and rocking chair – just what’s required to bathe in the full luxury of your glamping break.
The open plan design incorporates a simple kitchen which has an oven/hob, kettle, toaster, fridge and sink (cold only). Sit and chill out at the dining table during meal times, right opposite the log burning stove which provides a great way to keep the chills away in cooler months. Alternatively you can head for the sitting area with its plump leather chairs, and TV/digital Freeview facilities.
Sue the owner also provides guests with tea, coffee and sugar as well as a lovely welcome basket of beans, sausages, crusty bread, butter and eggs for your first breakfast in the Wrangler’s Rest- just what you need before doing whatever you feel like for the rest of the day!
Retire to the separate bedroom area where you’ll be greeted by a luxurious full double bed all ready and made up for you to sleep in the peace and tranquillity of its Powys location.
Just because you’re separated from the outside world doesn’t mean you’re detached from basic amenities. There’s a shower room with shower cubicle (electric shower), flushing toilet, and hand basin (cold only) for exclusive use. And you don’t need to worry about remembering to pack your towels as they are provided as part of your stay.
The cute, small fenced area with a garden table and chairs are positively super as a chill-out area on the porch for an evening drink accompanied by a gaze up at the starry-night sky – bliss!
This area is well known for walking, its natural beauty and mountains if that takes your fancy. Additionally, there’s the popular year round festivals and events – including, of course, the annual Book Festival at nearby Hay on Wye.
There is an abundance of things to see and do, if however you prefer to stay cuddled up in this romantic Brecon Beacons log cabin, we really wouldn’t blame you!
