If this amazing story doesn’t want to make you book a treehouse glamping holiday then we’re not sure what will! A British design firm called blue forest developed an abode that is normally reserved for the movie screens with their ‘living the highlife’ creation.

Living the Highlife Treehouse

The construction, which comprises of two treehouses, with one specifically designated for children leaving the other for the adults. These elevated treehouse dwellings are superbly linked by a network of rope bridges, and rather excitingly for the younger members of a family and the kids in all of us too, these rope bridges access the ‘adventure play area’ and ‘assault course’ which are also on the site.

Not only is there space for the owners’ family to live, they have room to accommodate guests as well.

The children’s treehouse features magical tall pointed towers, which make it look like something from Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter. The complex continues with its wonder with the inclusion of an 80-yard zip line, which accesses the aforementioned ‘assault course’ on the forest ground.

The adult’s living area has a low conical roof, with walls beautifully clad in hand-split oak shingles and cedar tongue-and-groove boards. The interior comprises of a kitchen, bathroom, and a pleasantly large living area, with a feature that not many can claim to have in their own homes in the form of a thick tree passing through the centre of the space.
