If you are in Anglesey glamping this weekend then make sure that you don’t miss the chance to sample the delights of the Menai Seafood Festival in North Wales.
Menai Bridge plays host to this annual event on Saturday 22nd August, with a divine selection of some of the best fish and seafood the local shores have at its disposal. This spectacular event is always superbly represented, so if you fancy picking up some handy tips through various cooking demonstrations, as well as doing a bit of shopping at the local produce markets and enjoying what exhibitors have on offer then be sure to head on down.
To get an idea of the scale of the festival, you can expect to be treated to as many as 100 stalls from the local fishermen, farmers, and various other local producers who are set to bring with them some of finest produce, from both sea and land.
The festival is an all-day affair with organisers opening the event at 10am until 5pm.
Since its resounding success at the first event two years ago in 2013, the festival, which is lovingly run by a committee of local residents and businesses from the Menai Bridge and adjacent areas, the Menai Seafood Festival has gone from strength to strength.
Remarkably, the event is not-for-profit, and shows the true work and togetherness the local community have to make this festival a success for all concerned.
More information can be found if you head over to the Menai Seafood Festival website.
