The, one off, hand-built Shepherd’s Hut was presented to Prince George by way of a thank-you from a Dorset company which was launched with the help of Prince George’s grandfather, Prince Charles, the Duke of Cornwall.
Plankbridge Hutmakers, near Dorchester are behind the exclusive wooden structure which boasts a wood-burning stove and is fitted with its own bed. Happy second birthday George!
The Prince’s private glamping shepherd’s hut has been installed in a wildflower meadow at his Highgrove home in Gloucestershire, not far from our Gloucestershire shepherd huts, and will be used for what are sure to be amazing play times for the young royal!
Glamping is known for its popularity, and Prince George now joins the likes of Liz Hurley who also owns her own shepherd’s hut for when she wants to appreciate the countryside and tranquil settings.
