With The Glamping Show on the horizon, we thought now would be a good time to take a look over what visitors can look forward to at this year’s annual event.
The Glamping Show is a standalone sales and marketing platform, originally unveiled to the public in 2015 with an aim of directly targeting the ever-growing glamping sector, factoring in the holiday and event industries, respectively.
After the initial success at last year’s event, which featured a wide showcase of exhibitors from both here in the UK and from further afield too, and saw 1000s of visitors attending through the three days, the organisers have expressed their delight at returning with a bigger and better show for 2016.
What to expect
Expect to see, not just a whole host of glamping tents, but an increase in terms of exhibition space overall for outside and inside areas that will allow the new exhibitors to pitch up in amongst the returning exhibitors. Many of last year’s exhibitors are returning to larger spaces after seeing the effects of the 2015 Show and deciding they want to showcase even more of what they have on offer, so the organisers were right when they said they were going bigger and better for this year!
For those in the festival and event organising world, they can look forward to discovering a larger range of glamping structures to view on display as well as other wares, such as off-grid energy and lighting, toilets and shower facilities. All of this products and structures would be suitable to meet the criteria for all sorts of events, from small festivals right up to the larger ones, as well as weddings, corporate hospitality, and a wide scale of parties too.
If you attended in 2015 then you can expect to see exhibitors including Exclusive Tents, from South Africa, along with Cedartree, and new exhibitors include;
- Tiks Pac, environmental stations for the free distribution of dog waste bags
- Mango Crafts, specialists in designing and manufacturing superb outdoor furniture
- Dub Box, a two-berth practical camper caravan that can be tailored to match your car or van’s interior and exterior décor
- Waterless Toilets, offering their off-grid toilets that function without access to mains sewage
- The Garden Oven Company, specialising in offering wood-fired outdoor ovens
- Bond Fabrications, a leading UK manufacturer of bespoke marquees and glamping structures.
Away from structures and products, a plethora of seminars with varying subjects will be available for visitors to attend and gain information from, including: ‘success story’ case studies, marketing and planning, alternative technologies, solar energy, permissions, choosing the right structure, diversification, inspiring your staff, customer service, insurance and lots, lots more. Organisers have advised that you book for any seminars you are keen to attend due to the popularity of these talks.
The Glamping Show will be taking place over the three days of Thursday 22 to Saturday 24 September and if you would like to access more information and register for the Show visit www.theglampingshow.com.
