This enchanting, luxury, timber built glamping abode with a state of the art hobbit door is very special. Surprisingly spacious, the chic Scandi styled interior contains a snuggly double bed, well equipped galley kitchen area, fold away dining table, cosy sofa bed, fitted cupboard and an en-suite shower room. There is a tv for cloudy evenings when the moon is obscured from view and a grand porthole window for moon gazing on clear nights. The whole pod is super insulated ensuring warmth and comfort all year round.

Moon Pod is surrounded by the mature woodland and glorious countryside of the old Stackpole Estate along the stunning south Pembrokeshire coast now cared for by the National Trust.

The local Stackpole Inn is an award winning gastro pub and the Boathouse Cafe at tiny historic Stackpole Quay serves tempting cakes with fresh coffee, light lunches, afternoon teas and ice-cream. There are gorgeous beaches along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path including exotic Barafundle Bay to the west and vast dune backed Broad Haven South beach to the east. The little village of Bosherston is well worth a visit where you can walk beside the glorious Lily Ponds and enjoy refreshments in Ye Olde Worlde Cafe or the climbers and walkers favourite, St Govan’s Inn.

The seaside resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot are just a short drive away where sandy beaches are complimented by vibrant shops, cafes, restaurants, museums and seasonal boat trips.

Story filled ancient castles such as Pembroke, Carew and Manorbier will capture the imagination. All have tearooms and host a variety of exhibitions and events. Look out for Archery, Falconry, Outdoor theatre, Fetes, Fireside Tales, Music and more.  Their Christmas markets are particularly festive in such atmospheric surroundings. If it’s adventure you’re after, look no further. The Stackpole Estate promotes coasteering and sea kayaking trips around the rugged seaboard. Climb Pembroke provide rock climbing courses and adventure days on the craggy limestone cliffs. Carew Karting have 13hp (390cc) Thunderkats for hurtling around their purpose built track and Heatherton Sport’s Park give opportunities for paint balling, tree top trails and escape rooms. Blue Lagoon Water Park is a great venue whatever the weather with a wave pool, a lazy river that flows outside and inside and there is a series of waterslides.
