7010  Romany Rose Gypsy Caravan – Ellesmere, Shropshire

A bling–filled gypsy caravan holiday!

A unique vintage glamping holiday in Shropshire - voted by 'The Guardian' as one of the top eccentric places to stay this gypsy caravan doesn't disappoint. With more chrome than a 1950's Chevy, engraved mirrors, leather upholstery and feather trimmed cushions she is totally bling!

However she isn't just a pretty face - the quality of these caravans were so high that when they were made in the 1950's - 1970's they could cost more that some properties.

Interior
Open plan, the kitchen area has a kettle, fridge (small icebox) toaster & microwave, cooking facilities have been kept simple to preserve the caravans interior.
There is seating opposite the log burner which means you can keep the sofa-bed made up if you wish (all bedding is included). The sofa-bed side of the caravan can be sectioned off if required.

Year round the wood burning stove keeps you toasty whilst at night the twinkling interior lights reflecting on glass and mirrors create a magical atmosphere.

Bathroom
A few meters away is a simple purpose built cabin adjacent to the farm building with electric shower cubicle, flushing loo and washing-up sink with hot water.

Outside
is a small private fenced garden overlooking the grounds, a fire-brazier and You are also welcome to explore the farm building behind the Wagon and say hello to the horses, some of which used to perform in the circus with Nink.

The Site
The caravan is next to the stable building which along with Nink's farmhouse sits within 60 acres. Whilst the original Stately Home has long gone, the tranquility of an English country estate lingers on.

A peaceful lake complete with little islands and rowing boat is just a couple of minutes walk so maybe take a picnic down to the lakeside or explore the grounds. One of the larger Meres, lake Colemere is further afield and a very pleasant short walk

Local Area
Close by is the bustling Medieval town of Shrewsbury with Museums, Castle and Theatre, as is Ellesmere lake, Llangollen, Chirk and Whittington Castles. A little further afield are Church Stretton and the Stiperstone Hills. Shropshire is a great county for walking and cycling.
The Shropshire Marches are within easy reach of the M6, M54 and A5 - ideally located for a short break.

This glamping gypsy caravan is located on the same site as Nink's Wagon - both can be booked together accommodating up to four people in caravan travelling style!
