Ancient Robertsbridge is the nearest village where you will find a railway station, let the train take the strain, a mini market, bakery, village store and more than its fair share of country pubs.

There are opportunities nearby for walking, cycling, Go Ape rope challenges, helicopter rides, quad biking, archery, clay pigeon shooting, off roading in 4×4’s and more. Watersports are available around Hastings at the seaside and at the South East’s premier Wakeboarding and Water-Skiing Centre in Romney Marsh. Try wind surfing, kite surfing, sailing, stand up paddle boarding, fun rides, jet ski rental and lots more.

Step back in time when you visit fascinating Bodiam Castle, The Summerhouse or Alcove and the historic George Inn all near Robertsbridge. Scotney Castle at Tunbridge Wells is cared for by the National Trust. The Medieval ruins and battlefield site at Battle Abbey are well worth a visit as is Camber Castle near the coast between Winchelsea and Rye Harbour.
