What is glamping?
Glamping is all about experiencing the beauty of nature within the comfort of a creatively created and unusual structure.
Think a glass of wine in a hot tub by a stream; a mug of coffee overlooking morning mist rolling off the hill sides; it's also about a warm welcome.
Whilst some will say it's the combination of camping and being glamorous, that's not how we see it. It's not about being elegant in stilettos in a camping field. It is, however, about being much more comfortable than camping – does that make it glamorous? Maybe.
The most important bit for us is to help you facilitate moments, memories and experiences which nurture your natural state of well-being. City life is stressful – its good for us to allow ourselves to be exposed the orchestra of harmonies created visually and audibly by Mother Nature herself.
Glamping as a term encompasses a wide range of cool places to stay, ranging from those under canvas such as yurts, safari tents and geodomes, to the more solid structures such as treehouses, gypsy wagons, wooden and shepherd huts and earth sheltered homes, as well as more adventurous structures such as those floating on water.
We inspect every place we represent to make sure that the uniqueness of the experience will match our high aspirations for your holiday.
We dont like to put ourselves, or others into a ‘box’, but to help you discover the right place for you, we have classed our glamping holidays into various categories by location, feature and time of year below.
If you get stuck, do give us a call on 01348 830 922. We love glamping, and would love an excuse talk to you about it!
