Short Breaks may be available - Call us on Tel-01348 830922 - POA
Cedar Pod is perfectly kitted out for a cosy couple's retreat, blending the relaxing elements of nature with cutting edge technology and comfort. The bi-fold doors open the pod up to the greenery of nature - making this a great place to relax. It's a great little 'away from it all' chill-out space or a base from which to explore Devon and nearby coastal towns.
The pod's small double sofa-bed has a comfy double mattress topper and views over the paddock. (double duvet and 4 pillows provided, please bring covers). A compact luxury shower room at the back has a hot shower, loo/sink combo and is toasty warm with underfloor heating. If you can't do without screen entertainment the 50 Inch 3DHD TV with Freeview & PS4 Games Console (with a small selection of games and 3D movies) should do the trick although you might choose to leave the rural peace undisturbed. There is also an iPod Bluetooth Speaker and free WIFI.
A modern German kitchen has a gas hob, integrated electric oven & fridge - all the essentials, and whilst there isn't an icebox in the fridge, that G&T doesn't have to be lukewarm as there is an ice cube maker!
The pod sits in its own half acre of private lawn complete with picnic bench, large parasol, outside mood lighting & charcoal barbie - maybe try some locally sourced goodies and beers or a food hamper from Riverford Farm Shop.
Pips Pick Your Own is a great place to pick your own fruit and veg and have fun to learn about some foods that we might take for granted. You've got the whole paddock to yourselves, so make the most of it, laze around in dappled shade under the trees, cook up sumptuous local food, and marvel at starry skies free from light pollution.
