Nestled on the slopes of the Otter Valley with breathtaking views over the rolling hills of East Devon - a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - this glorious glamp-site sits just 10 minutes from Sidmouth and the iconic Jurassic Coast. 

This exclusive adults-only site contains 5 luxury glamping pods - each individually hand-crafted in the owner's workshop - and has been specifically designed for a grown-up getaway to this stunning section of the English countryside. 

The pods are exquisitely furnished with their own unique countryside character, including luxurious double-beds, kitchens, en-suite showers, comfy sofas and their own BBQ/picnic area outside. Private parking by the reception area is only a short walk away.

Otter gets its name from the River Otter that flows at the bottom of the park, who's furry inhabitants can sometimes be spotted bobbing and weaving through the tranquil waters. The pod is decorated in earthy tones similar to an otters coat, with little flashes of colour to make a cosy and peaceful haven.

What's more, the site has been specifically designed to accommodate pets, so you can experience the areas wonderful walking options with your best friend in tow. Being dog-owners themselves, the owners have supplied a carefully thought out selection facilities including beds, food & water bowls, leads & collars as well as washing facilities for your pooch.

From its superior position at the top of a slope, the pods enjoy majestic views across the tranquil Devonshire countryside. Watch the sun traverse the sky with a gorgeous panorama from sunrise to sunset, and listen to the sounds of nature with woodland birds and flourishing wildlife in abundance.

The site is only 10 minutes stroll to the village of Tipton St John (which includes a pub and shop!), and sits amongst a variety of stunning wilderness, from the rolling landscape of East Devon to the spectacular Jurassic Coast. Explore sandy beaches and coastal walks to quaint country villages - this is a place where special memories are made to keep.

  • Leads & collars

    Owners must be responsible for their dogs at all times. Please adhere to the following:

  • Keep your dog on its lead at all times whilst on the Park

  • Do not leave your dog unattended in or outside the Pod at any time

  • Clean-up your dog's waste, using the dog compost bins on site

  • Do not allow your dog on the Pod furniture

  • Clean your dog before allowing them in Pod

The park is located on the iconic Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The area not only boasts incredible coastal scenery but is the gateway to the South West of England and the stunning countryside of Devon. Dartmoor and Exmoor are close enough for a day trip from here. There are plenty of walks directly from your doorstep including along the tranquil River Otter in the valley below.

Tipton St John

Just 10 minutes walk from the discover the quaint little village of Tipton St John, which contains a pub and village shop. 

Tipton Village Store stocks groceries and the Golden Lion Pub is well known for its local fresh fish and seafood dishes, including ‘Take Away Fish ‘n' Chips' every Tuesday night - perfect for sitting by the river and indulging in the beautiful surroundings! The village also has a garage, which sells fuel and there is a bus stop right by the village shop if you prefer to leave your car at the park & venture out by bus.

Otter St Mary

The historical town of Ottery St Mary can be reached via a 3-mile walk along the footpath, following the River Otter, northbound. Birthplace of Samuel Coleridge and home of the famous 5th November Tar Barrel Festival, Ottery St Mary boasts a number of independent shops, Library and Tourist Information Centre, as well as coffee shops, a Sainsbury's supermarket and petrol station.

At the top of the town, discover the beautiful Parish Church of St Mary's which was modelled closely after Exeter Cathedral.

Sidmouth lies on the Jurassic Coast and the coastline is dominated by the vivid red sandstone cliff. In Sidmouth and the surrounding countryside, you'll find a great range of attractions and activities including sea kayaking and more. Visit Sidmouth in August for the Folk Festival. 

Budleigh Salterton
A beautiful seaside town with a 2-mile long pebble beach with safe clear waters for swimming and excellent facilities. There are plenty of events including festivals in Budleigh throughout the year.

The fishing village of Beer, a family-friendly beach surrounded by limestone cliffs. There are popular coastal walks to Branscombe and Seaton along the South West Coast Path and along to Dorset and East Devon World Heritage Coast.

Seaton is surrounded by stunning countryside and towns. Full of local history coastal walks you'll find some great things to do in and around Seaton. Ride Seaton Tramway, explore the Seaton Wetlands or visit the South West's newest award-winning visitor attraction Seaton Jurassic.

Wildwood Escot
A fun-filled family day out in the Devon countryside. Escot is home to some incredible animals and many more amazing activities.
