A truly magical site, magnificently perched over a gorgeous valley, home to a large herd of red deer. The site includes an authentic train carriage for two, separate barbecue and kitchen huts, hot tub, and private air strip, all within a short drive from the beautiful North Devon coast and enchanting Exmoor National Park. This truly unique amalgamation of glorious glamping gifts, offers an array of facilities, including a grand barbecue hut, with ample seating, outdoor wood-fired hot tub, filled with the farm's own spring water, with glorious views over the valley below, a fully equipped kitchen hut with separate double shower room, and best of all, your own personal landing strip. Flights can be arranged on request, so why not take to the skies and experience some seriously breathtaking views across Exmoor National Park and the wonderful Devonshire coastline.
Nirvana, certainly lives up to is name, with every little detail carefully thought out by the attentive owners. The welcome pack not only includes a selection of gourmet jam, fresh flowers, a bottle of fizz, but also multiple award-winning handmade sausages and bacon, all produced on this very site. Furthermore, the water supply is directly sourced from a natural spring, so in every sense, this really is an authentic taste of Devon. Farm walks are also available for anyone wishing to explore the 100 acre site, and see a collection of lovingly cared for animals. The valley below is adorned with a variety of natural wildlife from birds and native flowers, to the noble red deer, who take residence in the valley below. The large deer can often be glimpsed grazing in the fields as well as the smaller roe deer. The stags can be heard rutting throughout the valley in autumn.
The whole site will be exclusively yours for the duration of your stay, so whether you simply want to unwind in the tranquil surroundings on a romantic break, or invite a few friends for a social gathering, the choice is yours. Camping space is available on site, as well as room for a camper van or caravan to accommodate extra guests if you choose.
The site cannot accept children besides for babes in arms (no cot provided).

The Train Carriage - The main sleeping quarters are equipped with a luxurious super king size bed with quality linen and an electric blanket, to keep you warm and snug on frosty nights. It is extremely well heated with an electric fire - and a spare heater if required. A small kitchen with fresh running spring water, kettle, microwave, teas, coffees and a marvellous welcome pack, which also includes homemade bespoke chocolate or cake is another indulgent treat. A flat-screen TV with a selection of DVDs, DAB radio and board games are all included to pass away the balmy nights. Guests can also bring their own music, and make use of the CD player with Bluetooth capacity for an iPod or MP3 Player. A lavatory room with full flushing toilet, large wash basin and shaver/electric toothbrush point adjoin the main room. The carriage stands majestically overlooking the valley below with unbridled views over a glorious wooded valley, while the cliffs of the Sidmouth Gap on the south coast can be glimpsed in the distance on a clear day. The sun beams across the south-east facing terrace for most of the day; an ideal place to sit out and enjoy the breathtaking views.
The Barbecue Hut - Complete with bags of locally produced charcoal (of course!), a bag of marshmallows, and cooking utensils; this grandiose space will accommodate up to 20 people or more - great if you decide to invite a few friends - yet also retaining a wonderful warm feel, with snug reindeer rugs dotted around the benches, candles and glass birds swinging from the beams and a cluster of beautiful fairy lights illuminating the space. It conjures a real sense of a quintessential Finnish hunting lodge with its cladded walls and array of lovely accessories, making it equally well suited to those cold winter nights or as a summer escape. The magnificent barbecue centrepiece, is ideal for a chargrilled banquet, while the two farmhouse rocking chairs lined with sheepskin rugs are perfect for a romantic couple swaying the nights away next to the bewitching embers on the fire. The BBQ hut also comes equipped with another CD and Bluetooth player, which also plays FM radio.
The Kitchen and Shower Hut - The fully equipped kitchen hut provides everything you will need for an extended break away. You will find a kettle, toaster, full gas hob, electric oven, washing machine, iron, dishwasher, tea towels, pots and pans, various assortment of cooking dishes, cutlery, and utensils. In the fridge, there is a delightful breakfast including the farm's very own homemade sausages, bacon, and local free range eggs. The award-winning sausages - claiming top prize 5 years running with Taste of The West, are worth the trip alone and, also taste great on the BBQ. The separate shower room includes a hot shower, luxury bath-robes and towels, and a selection of indulgent toiletries, while the hut stays lovely and warm with full gas central heating.
A raised fire-pit outside, which can also be used as an outdoor barbecue, makes for a lovely place to sit and watch the stars on a clear night. French Boule and Croquet sets are also available for guests to use at their pleasure.
