This inspiring tree house style lodge sits on the edge of a private woodland and lake, deep in the rolling hills of the Devon countryside. A quarry stone basement roots the Lodge into the side of a sloping woodland with a
cedar clad second floor above, and a panoramic balcony sweeps around the Lodge at treetop level providing an incredible sense of space and height.

The tranquillity of nature merges perfectly with comfort and contemporary style, making this one of the most striking woodland retreats in the UK. Attention to detail, style and quality are as evident as the craftsmanship that created this beautiful structure. And with luxurious features such as a hot tub, home cinema room, designer bathrooms and kitchen - it is one of the most well-appointed and comfortable too.

Interior and Facilities
The Lodge has two levels of accommodation, the top level provides the main living space central to which is the fabulous German kitchen, fully equipped with large gas hob and oven, microwave and dishwasher. Adjacent is the dining and seating area with stylish sofas, flat screen HD TV, Freeview, iPod Bluetooth speakers, and vintage log burner.
Huge bi-fold doors draw back, expanding the living space over a sweeping decked veranda which brushes the tree canopy, breathing a unique sense of light and freedom into the property. The two bedrooms are set either side of the open plan living space - 1 double with en suite wet-room shower room, and 1 twin which can be made into a double bed. Both bedrooms have flat screen HD TV, Freeview and iPod Bluetooth speakers. Next to the twin room is a separate family bathroom with mood lighting and a gorgeous deep bathtub for relaxing soaks.

The lower level is dedicated to the home cinema room with a 3D HD overhead projector, screen and 3D glasses. Mood lighting, along with comfy and generous seating make the experience even more attractive! Two sofa chairs convert into single beds, and double patio doors lead onto another decked balcony. This room also provides a particularly tranquil space for reading and chilling out... bliss. There is underfloor heating throughout, and free Wi-Fi access is available. No smoking is permitted throughout the property or balcony due to fire risks.

Location and Situation
Hot Tub included ( Fishing at an extra cost £100 per week )
A hot tub is the perfect addition to this luxury holiday!  Seating 5 people, it has 19 jets, modulated temperature control and bespoke mood lighting for a luxurious way to unwind. Imagine lying back in soothing warm bubbles under starry skies or dappled sunlight through branches.
The tree house lodge sits at the edge of a 2 acre woodland with a well-stocked fishing lake about 20 meters away. If you enjoy fishing, access to the lake is included in holiday price.  Private fishing lessons with a local fisherman can also be arranged if you want to hone your skills, or maybe surprise a loved one or friend with a lesson as a gift.

A Weber BBQ (gas inclusive) is also provided should you want to make the most of this gorgeous location and spend as much time outdoors as possible!

Very nice and comfortable, good location, but found it lacking the luxury I was expecting for the price we paid. The property is smaller than it appears from the photographs and if unfortunate to be stuck in through bad weather, the upper floor could make more than 4 people feel slightly claustrophobic. The cinema room down stairs was fantastic and couldn't be faulted, there were some good movies available ( including 3D ) again a great thing to have in any bad weather. Some nice places to visit, and Totnes is a must for wine lovers, some lovely estates to visit for some wine tasting. We would use the property again but only if the price were to come down.
