Tucked away in the upper reaches of the ancient Rother Valley, it overlooks a dew pond on the edge of private ancient woodland. Clad in aromatic cedar it blends perfectly with the ancient woodland in the Weald's area of natural beauty setting the scene for a memorable break. It's really easy to chill-out and lose yourself from the world!
A short walk over an elevated boardwalk, through a shady
wood and will bring you to Hoots - the idyllic retreat. A
peaceful ambiance is the playground of native wildlife and song
birds, look out for badger, fox, pheasant and deer during your
stay. Buzzards float high on the warm air currents and owls
call to each other among the surrounding trees, sometimes even
perching on Hoot's wonderful deck!
A warm welcome will greet you and if you arrive in time for tea you can enjoy homemade cake either on the gorgeous decking enjoying the elevated vantage point, or snuggle up by the cosy wood-burner. Sleep among the trees with all the mod-cons in stunning Sussex countryside.
Inside is a kitchen, log burner and all the comforts you would expect from a high finish tree house. double bed and up in the mezzanine level a further 2 single beds for children (over 7 years old recommended due to steps).
Sussex is blessed with many pretty villages with pubs and restaurants. Wadhurst and Royal Tunbridge Wells are home to cafes, art galleries, independent shops and live music. If you are looking for a special piece of jewellery, the Queen's jeweller can be found in Royal Tunbridge. If you choose to venture out, there are also village pubs with preserved local character and delicious menus, the nearest picturesque village of Mayfield is an appetising one hour's walk away.
You may find it hard to leave.....
