Hoots is an inspiring Tree House created by 'Blue Forest', one of the world's leading tree house design and build companies.
Tucked away in the upper reaches of the ancient Rother Valley, it overlooks a dew pond on the edge of private ancient woodland. Clad in aromatic cedar it blends perfectly with the ancient woodland in the Weald's area of natural beauty setting the scene for a memorable break. It's really easy to chill-out and lose yourself from the world!
A short walk over an elevated boardwalk, through a shady wood and, will bring you to Hoots - the idyllic retreat. A peaceful ambience is the playground of native wildlife and songbirds, look out for badger, fox, pheasant, and deer during your stay. Buzzard's float high on the warm air currents and owls call to each other among the surrounding trees, sometimes even perching on Hoot's wonderful deck!
Check-in - 4pm / Check -out - 10am
2 adults on king size bed. Up to 2 children (from 6yrs) or one older child in a small crog loft with limited head height, accessed through hatch via a ladder - please call to book. All bedding provided. (Hypoallergenic duvet and pillows can be arranged on request)
Hot shower, flushing loo and hand washbasin, heated towel rail. Fluffy towels provided.
Equipped kitchenette: 2 ring gas hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, sink with H&C, toaster, Tassimo coffee maker.

Heating from thermostatically controlled heating, plus a log burning stove (logs inclusive). Radiator in main living space and heated towel rail in shower room. Electric lighting from solar & generator, sockets for charging devices / cameras.

Two decked balconies, one with gas BBQ & garden furniture, acres of woodland, lots of signposted accessible public footpaths, 5 mins to Wadhurst Deer Parkland.
Parking 50 meters away, boardwalk walkway to Hoots. The treehouse is approx 1 mile down a track off the public road.

Nearest Train Station: Stonegate, 2.5 miles away.
A warm welcome will greet you and if you arrive in time for tea you can enjoy homemade cake either on the gorgeous decking enjoying the elevated vantage point, or snuggle up by the cosy wood-burner. Sleep among the trees with all the mod-cons in stunning Sussex countryside.
Inside is a kitchen, log burner and all the comforts you would expect from a high finish tree house. double bed and up in the mezzanine level a further 2 single beds for children (over 7 years old recommended due to steps).
Sussex is blessed with many pretty villages with pubs and restaurants. Wadhurst and Royal Tunbridge Wells are home to cafes, art galleries, independent shops and live music. If you are looking for a special piece of jewellery, the Queen's jeweller can be found in Royal Tunbridge. If you choose to venture out, there are also village pubs with preserved local character and delicious menus, the nearest picturesque village of Mayfield is an appetising one hour's walk away.
