Summer glamping couldn't get much more idyllic than this. Surrounded by old apple trees, private riverside access and just enough modern conveniences, this is a great place to unwind for families or small groups. The gorgeous Shepherds Hut, Bell Tent and open-air Kitchen Hut are nestled into a mature cider apple orchard and with no one but the birds and the neighbouring sheep for company, this relaxed setting is the perfect tonic from the stresses of work-life, and quality time spent with loved ones.

Forget about everything for a while - gaze into flickering flames in the brazier, watch shadows on the Black Mountains from the sofa, be dazzled by starry skies, lie back in the grass and look for pictures in the clouds. For the kids, there's a toy box full of outdoor games, as well as plenty of hide and seek spots, and wildlife galore for the spotting. Sleep well, because the mattresses were specially made to fit the interior dimensions, while the stove will keep the shepherds huts lovely and cosy.

A short stroll across the orchard and down a quirky set of steps is your private riverside picnic spot. If you don't want the smaller children near the water's edge, there's a padlocked gate above the river, keeping the children safe and the adults happy.

We can't think of many places that would be more idyllic on a British summer afternoon - share a glass of something bubbly or a gooey, flame-licked marshmallow, and share stories over the fire with the people closest to you.  This is a halcyon holiday spot that your children will fondly remember for years to come.

There's a great pub nearby for those feeling fit, but everything you need to cook some great food is right here in the fantastic field shelter kitchen - gas hob, fridge, dining table and chairs - enjoy views of mountains from the sofa! This is a really lovely covered area for cooking, eating and relaxing with your family after a day of adventure on the banks of the Wye.

If quirky is your thing, you will love the rustic bathroom hut with its shower that's open to the skies, and one of the most unique glamping loos we've seen! Even washing up here is a joy in the Eastnor, old Belfast sink, as butterflies and bees hover by.
