Nestled alongside the Somerset Levels, this calming estate only 10 minutes from Glastonbury offers four luxurious Safari Lodges, perfectly equipped for a relaxing break beneath the stars.

The bespoke accommodation has been carefully designed to combine comfort, style, and functionality. Each lodge sleeps up to 6 with a well-equipped kitchen, comfy lounge, luxury bathroom, and a private veranda with cast iron BBQ. The log burner will keep you lovely and toasty while the atmospheric lights, stylish decor, and Egyptian cotton sheets create a luxury feel throughout.

Outside enjoy a variety of plant life from towering trees that line the entrance to the apple and pear trees sprinkled through the little orchard. The glamping field sits amongst a blooming wildflower meadow with manicured paths meandering through the seasonal flowers. There are designated spaces to gather with friends as well as a few tranquil corners to linger quietly in the wilderness.

The communal games/dining room is a great addition for those who like to play pool, table tennis, or simply hang out with family or friends, while there is another communal area nestled amongst the orchard. Here you will find a wood-fired pizza oven, seating, and fire-pit for gatherings beneath the starry skies.

What's more, bicycles are available should you wish to see the Somerset countryside in style. This glorious location is steeped in myth and legend with historical artefacts and areas of natural splendour abound. Set in the heart of rural Somerset the site makes a great base to explore the local area. The site sits just ten minutes from the unique town of Glastonbury, and only a short drive from the tiny city of Wells, Cheddar Gorge and Caves, plus the Mendip Hills - A Designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Nature enthusiasts will love Shapwick Heath - a beautiful wetland reserve - while seafaring folk can make a day trip to the famous Jurassic Coast for a variety of spectacular beaches and seaside towns.

Walking & Cycling
There's no shortage of beautiful walks and bike rides on the doorstep, with a climb up the Glastonbury Tor an absolute must for a beautiful panorama of the gently rolling landscape. A handpicked guide of the best walks and cycle routes from lazy ambles to ambitious hikes are provided in each lodge.

Towns & Villages
With the cathedral city of Wells (England's smallest city) and the fascinating market town of Glastonbury a short drive away there's plenty to discover. What's more, there's no shortage of cosy West Country pubs where you can relax with a  pint of Somerset cider.

Day trips to the Dorset coast offer dramatic scenery and some of the UK's best beaches. We recommend a visit to West Bay, the famous backdrop to the TV series Broadchurch, or West Bexington - a mackerel fishing haven, and Durdle Door - an iconic symbol of the Jurassic Coast.

Wildlife Watching
The lodges are surrounded by working farmland, while a variety of birdlife, butterflies and small mammals frequent the site at various times of the year. Visit Shapwick Heath for bird spotting, otters and Britain's largest dragonfly. Farm tours are available at Chew Valley Country Farm and Fern Animal Sanctuary. If you're after something a bit more exotic, Longleat Safari Park is a forty-minute drive away. In addition, the Avalon Marshes and Westhay Moor offer fantastic bird watching opportunities.

Eating Out
Visit, The Red Lion in the idyllic village of Babcary for a traditional pub experience with a great menu of locally sourced ingredients. A full list of local restaurants and take-aways can be found in the lodges.

Spa Days
To really unwind after a long walk, head to Charlton House and book in for a premium treatment in a decadent spa in a stunning country house. Alternatively, appointments can be arranged with a local beautician for hair and beauty treatment in the comfort of your lodge - just ask the owner for details!

Cider Experiences
Somerset is famous for its cider! For an authentic experience, visit Mugley Cider Farm for proper scrumpy and amazing cheese. Or for something a little more sophisticated, Somerset Cider Brandy Company in Martock is excellent.
