Glamping, luxury camping and unique holidays in the UK are about the experience: an unusual place to stay, an open camp fire, a log burner... Take a look around, we're sure you'll find something you'll love.
Do you fancy breathing in the fresh air in Devon or Glastonbury? Wandering in Wales, exploring in Yorkshire, or down south in Sussex? We offer a range of inspiring alternative accommodation throughout the UK.
Most people associate this part of the world with the bright lights of the bustling city of Liverpool or 'Beatlemania', but The Wirral and Merseyside have unique estuary views and stretches of sandy beaches and acres of green parks throughout, making it a perfect spot for a glamping holiday.
Our glamping accommodation on The Wirral and Merseyside is perfectly located for you to explore both urban and country adventures. If you love the contrast between sleeping under the stars and spending your days in Liverpool, then why not take a ferry across the Mersey - the first steam ferry left Liverpool in 1817, and the modern boats are the best way to take in the UNESCO World Heritage riverside and its historic buildings.
If you’d rather spend all of your glamping holiday on The Wirral and Merseyside out in the wild, then there’s plenty to keep you entertained. Flanked by the Mersey to the North and the river Dee to the south, with the Irish Sea pushing sizable waves to shore from the West, this part of the world is perfect for those who love watersports - kitesurfing is particularly popular here. On the wilder southern side of The Wirral you’ll find quiet, sandy beaches and many off-shore islands that can be walked to at low tide. This less boat-heavy part of the water is also home to a colony of grey seals, as well as many maritime birds.
The well-maintained coastal pathways that lead around the 15-mile-long Wirral peninsula are popular with hikers and cyclists. Head inland for some urban greenery and visit Birkenhead Park, well-known for being the inspiration for Central Park. And if you like to interrupt a long walk with a round of golf, then you can enjoy your favourite sport and exquisite estuary and peninsula views from golf clubs such as the one at Caldy.
Far from being an entirely built-up area, The Wirral and Merseyside have plenty of historic, cultural, and outdoor entertainment to fill your glamping holiday! Take a look at our fantastic glamping structures in this area below...
