Standing majestically on a secluded site in the Malvern Hills the property blends seamlessly into the rolling landscape with panoramic views of the spectacular surrounds. The lodge is filled with a variety of luxuriant extras including a gorgeous wood-fired hot tub will hilltop views, and makes the perfect retreat for a romantic getaway, or a small family escape.
This is a secluded wooden cabin that allows for stargazing on clear nights from both the terraces, garden and hot tub. The icing on the cake is that you can also stargaze from the comfort of your super king-sized bed. A huge roof light sits right above you. What majesty!
The property has been handcrafted with amazing ingenuity, creating a truly unique space. Every detail has been carefully considered from the individually crafted features to the stunning private grounds. This really is a special place to get away from it all.
Although the site has its own private car park nearby, the lodge has no adjoining roads, which creates a real sense of seclusion. Sit back and enjoy the gorgeous natural setting with rolling hills stretching into the distance and animals ambling through the grassy fields.
This glorious location is brimming with walks and adventure with the beautiful Malvern Hills right on your doorstep. For the nearest pub, stroll down to the charming Farmers Arms Birtsmorton only 200-yards through the fields. This antique watering hole serves real ales and homemade food - perfect for a lunch or evening meal. The Malvern Hills are an area of biological and geological significance, which are known for their extreme beauty and abundance of natural spring water. The highest summit enjoys a fabulous panorama of the Severn Valley, the hills of Herefordshire, the Welsh mountains, parts of thirteen counties, the Bristol Channel, and the cathedrals of Worcester, Hereford and Gloucester. The view of the Wye Valley and across the Severn Vale to the Cotswolds has been rated as one of the top views in England.
There are some great tracks for cycling and walking right next to the site, but we also recommend a visit to the Forest of Dean or the Wye Valley, which include a whole host of other marvellous routes. For the more adventurous, take advantage of a variety of outdoor activities nearby including kayaking, climbing, horse riding, caving and fishing.
For history lovers, there are a variety of historic sites in the area including Berkeley, Eastnor and the renowned Goodrich. The family-run Alexandra Park Resort includes a spa, golf course and gym, all situated in a beautiful meadow estate, which again can be easily accessed by car.
Slightly further afield the lovely towns of Ledbury and Tewkesbury offer a variety of places to dine and a great selection of independent cafes and shops. These beautiful old-English towns are worth a visit just for the delightful architecture and ancient charm.
Pubs.
There are a number of lovely local pubs on the doorstep. Here are some of our favourites...
For something a bit more special.....
There are a variety of pubs, bars, restaurants and cafes in Malvern, Ledbury and Tewkesbury. If you're after a quick bite there are a number of fast food outlets including Fish & chips, Indian and Chinese restaurants. Our suggested chippy is in Barnards Green, Malvern.....very yummy!
