Facilities include an outdoor copper bath, a bespoke galley style kitchen, a cosy log burning stove, heated bathroom, handcrafted rustic furniture and many little extras.
The two connected cabins are the most child friendly with slightly lower decks. Being joined by a rope bridge makes them all the more magical and perfect for a bigger family get-together. Each of the Treehouses has a double sofa bed which can comfortably sleep two children under the age of twelve.

The indoor bathroom has a shower, WC, washbasin, heated towel rail. Natural Scottish toiletries are provided. There is an outside copper bath on the large terrace.
Galley style kitchen with microwave, combination oven, kettle, toaster, electric hob, crockery, cutlery and high-quality cooking equipment. Also included is a complimentary welcome pack from the local farm shop to include bread, milk, eggs, butter, and jam.
There is no internet access in this property.
Heating and Lighting
The treehouse has an air source heat pump with the addition of a log burning stove, using the Estate's own timber, for additional heating.
Up to 2 children, sleeping on the sofa bed. Cot and high chair can be provided on request.
Grounds and Nearby
Spacious treetop terrace with BBQ, outdoor furniture and copper bath for stargazing. Freedom to explore extensive woodlands and river banks. The river is less than a 5-minute walk. Rope bridge connecting to next door Willow Warbler treehouse.

Rustic handcrafted lounge furniture, in neutral tones, bespoke timber pieces and luxury fabrics and rugs. Log burning stove with wood provided. From the living area, there are views out to the decking.
The bathroom has a shower, WC, washbasin, heated towel rail. Natural Scottish toiletries provided, outside copper bath on the large terrace.
The generous decking offers privacy and peace for cooking on the Weber BBQ or a dip in the outside copper bath. The deck is furnished with comfortable outside furniture.
Activities on the doorstep: Lanrick offers a tranquil and peaceful escape with riverside walks suitable for different levels of fitness with plenty of places to stop and enjoy the scenery and wildlife along the way. Children and adults alike can enjoy the opportunity to paddle from the shore, play pooh sticks and fish for minnows.
Fishing: For more serious fisherfolk, Lanrick's fishing beat on the River Teith is widely renowned as an excellent location for fishing for native salmon, sea and brown trout. The fishing is seasonal and rates are varied but are available for anglers to pre-book in advance.
Food and drink: Keep it fresh and local at The Smiddy Farm Shop with crafts and a wonderful coffee shop and restaurant too. Pick up a fruit and veg box for your stay, or delicious bakery items, specialities meats, pies and fish not to mention the array of cheeses and ready meals offer from all over Scotland. So many tempting treats to take back to your treehouse or to pack into your picnic basket. There are a number of fantastic restaurants in the area including Monarcyle Mhor, Mhor 84, Andrew Fairlie at Gleneagles and the Roux brothers at Cromlix House as well as a number of good local pubs.
Attractions nearby: Within a ten-mile radius there are a number of major tourist attractions such as Blair Drummond safari park, one of Scotland's largest tourist attractions, which offers an ideal family day out and the opportunity to get up close to an exciting array of wildlife.
Trossachs National Park: The Trossachs National Park boundary sits just four miles to the west of Nuthatch. The National Park is famous for its highland scenery of dramatic mountains, lochs and magical woodlands. The range of activities within the park is endless; hiking, mountain climbing, bike trails, horse riding, canoeing, wild swimming and scenic picnicking.
Tours and experiences: Tours are available to book at the Deanston Distillery with its brand new Visitor Centre. You could well be in for an opportunity to taste some exclusive limited editions! Historical Sites: Visit Doune Castle, a 15th Century ruined castle in the nearby village, recently featured in the hit box office series, Outlander. Also Stirling Castle is a short drive away, one the historic homes of the kings of Scotland and now home to the Black Watch Museum. Visit the multi-award-winning Battle of Bannockburn experience and witness the battle like never before, with fully immersive 3D scenes bringing the battle to life. Interact with medieval warriors, archers and knights on either side of the conflict as they reveal how they became involved in the battle.
