The Alachigh provides an award-winning, eco-friendly holiday in Carmarthenshire for a family or group of friends. Set in 4 acres of magical woodlands, this spacious canvas palace enjoys breathtaking views over the Teifi valley from peaceful setting amongst the trees.
Nestled along the borders of 3 counties - Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire, and Ceredigion - this secluded glamping oasis feels a million miles from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Here, the enchanting woodland and majestic rolling landscape is a quiet and tranquil paradise away from the crowds, perfect for a relaxing escape beneath the stars.
The Alachigh (pronounced Al-la-cheeg) is a large, elegant structure, traditionally used by the Shasavan, a nomadic tribe from northern Iran. The functional space is furnished with a fully-equipped kitchen, wood-burning stove, colourful throws, and soft lighting, which creates a warming and laid-back atmosphere.
Outside, enjoy your own private corner of countryside to relax and indulge in the panoramic views or simply enjoy the soothing sounds of birds and nature. Cook up a storm on the BBQ or put your feet up on the outdoor furniture - this is glamping in its purest form. Bring your family or friends, or simply a good book and bask in the uninterrupted tranquility.
There are 5 bespoke abodes on-site, each on their own secluded site. A short walk takes you to a variety of wonderful communal areas including luxury showers, toilets, play area, a large fire-pit, and a log cabin for communal feasts or get-togethers.
