Ty Mawr is one of six treehouses available to our guests on this site. Please be aware that pressing "Book" reserves one of these six properties, and means that you will be allocated one of these equally beautiful treehouses based on availability and suitability. This is so that we can make sure that your family has a stay that's out of this world!
Ty Mawr is a uniquely crafted, rustic treehouse escape in North Wales for a couple, or two adults and up to three children. The relaxing atmosphere can be fully appreciated from this natural structure, as the sights, sounds and smells of this woodland setting can be soaked up from your very own 'living' room. Watch buzzards overhead and squirrels leaping from branch to branch from the rounded windows of your holiday nest. Watch the dappled sunlight twinkle through the swaying leaves as you relax in a tree hammock. Revel in the intoxicating smell of wildflowers and the sound of the nearby rippling stream dancing its way through the valley. This treehouse experience in the heart of rural Mid Wales is a real break from the hustle of modern living, allowing for a mindful break for couples and families.
Situated at the base of some of Wales' most popular hiking and climbing mountains at nearby Snowdonia National Park, you don't have to bring your hiking boots to have fun here. Around a half hour drive west is the Red Ridge Centre, where you and your group can try your hand at archery, abseiling, kayaking, paddle boarding and zip wiring, to name but a few of the outdoor pursuits on offer. For a less physically taxing day, why not head over to Corris Craft centre to visit award-winning Dyfi Distillery, or to Y Tabernacle in Machynlleth, to Wales' Museum of Modern Art to experience a different kind of beauty, before heading back to the artistry of the treehouse and its stunning surrounding.
